Preventive, restorative, and urgent care in one place, with Dr. Wu (DMD). Cosmetic treatment is available too, once your core care is handled.

    Exam, hygiene, and X-rays in one sixty-minute visit. The maintenance baseline most plans cover in full.

  • Tooth-coloured fillings

    Repair for new decay or a worn older filling. The tooth-coloured material is matched to your enamel for a natural, discreet result.

  • Crowns & bridges

    Full-coverage restoration for a cracked, weak, or missing tooth. Modern materials, planned to last.

  • Root canal therapy

    Treatment that saves a badly infected tooth rather than removing it. Performed under local anaesthetic for a comfortable, straightforward visit.

Yes. Dental at the Bow is currently open to all new patients, with no referral required. New-patient appointments are typically available within the same week, and we hold lunch-hour and pre-9am slots specifically for downtown professionals.

A first visit is usually sixty minutes. Dr. Wu and the hygiene team complete a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays, a professional cleaning, and a conversation about anything you'd like addressed. You'll leave with a clear understanding of your current oral health and, if any future treatment is recommended, a written plan and cost estimate so there are no surprises. Most insured patients pay zero at the appointment.

Yes, and you're in good company. A significant number of our new patients haven't been seen in two, five, or even ten years. There's no judgment, no lecture, and no rushing. We pick up from where you are today and work through anything that needs attention at a pace you're comfortable with.

No. Dr. Wu's standard is to recommend only what's clinically indicated, and to explain the reasoning before suggesting any treatment. If you came in for a cleaning, you'll leave having had a cleaning. Elective work like whitening and alignment is available — you'll see it listed on the page if you're curious — but it's only ever discussed during your visit if you ask about it first.

A routine cleaning and check-up is sixty minutes door to door, and we plan our schedule so visits don't run long. Most patients are back at their desk before their lunch hour is over.

For insured patients, we direct-bill every major group plan in Canada and confirm your coverage in a sixty-second pre-check before you arrive. Most insured patients pay zero at the appointment. For uninsured patients, we'll always tell you the full cost before any work begins, so there are no surprises.
